Jump to solution. I bought brand new Roku express, because our smart Philips TV will no longer support built in Netflix. Plugged the Roku express into the HDMI port. It goes to the set up menu, and we follow the prompts. It connects to the wifi. But then just goes to a bouncing logo.

It was working fine at 7pm. I turned it off to put my kids to bed, turned it back on at 7:30 and it's stuck on the logo/opening screen. I've tried unplugging it a couple times to no avail. The screen will occasionally go black for a few seconds but then the logo/opening screen comes back up.
Try holding the reset button for 40 seconds and see if it starts up. If it doesn't you'll have to start a warranty repair or replacement. I've had it happen on a Roku Express and holding the reset button did nothing. If yours does start up after holding the reset button for 40 seconds, you're set. If it doesn't work it's either
